"Mareva" is a Vahine' name (Tahitian girl) meaning "Canoes bringing gifts from Island to Island." We bring you the gift of dance. Paddle with us through the Islands of the Polynesian triangle, learning the dances and customs of the Polynesian Natives. Watch the ravishing and hypnotic hip movements of the Vahine Tahiti as well as the astonishing Tane' (Male) warriors and their fast paced traditional drumming. See the fierce war chants of the tattooed faced Maori people of New Zealand and the Poi dance. Learn to hula from our "Wahine nani" (Beautiful girl), while being taught the basic steps of the Hula Auana (modern) and the Hula Kahiko (Ancient).  Feel the temperature rise as our chief performs the Siva Afi (Samoan Fireknife dance).  Whether having a gathering at the beach, a hotel, your business or in the comfort of your own home. We bring the South Pacific islands to you with audience participation and dancing for kids and adults. Trying something new at your family get together? We can get the party started with our world class DJ or just relax and enjoy with a nice subtle show to accommodate any environment. The "Mareva Tahiti Polynesian Dancers" are committed to all your entertainment needs.
